All of us have called out to God in a time of need. Some of us only out of sheer desperation. Some of us have a strong prayer life and are comfortable with talking to God. In any case we all have a basic understanding that God answers prayer. Some people find it easy to pray for themselves, most find it easier to pray for others.

 First Samuel 12:23 "Moreover as for me, God forbid I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way."

So it is natural and right that we should pray for others. Jesus used the parable of the unjust judge to teach that prayer should continual and always unceasing.

Luke 18:1"And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint."

James 5:16 "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Prayer binds the enemy. When two or more people agree in prayer to bind an enemy God answers the faith of those prayers.

Matthew 18:18-20

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
