We believe in the one ever living, eternal God: infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose; and possessing absolute, invisible deity. ‘The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord” [Mark 12:29]. These words were first spoken to Moses by Jehovah God in the Book of Deuteronomy chapter 6:4. The Lord reminded Moses to tell Israel they must speak these words when they go out or when they return home to declare that God is one to their children everyday to wear these words around their neck or on their wrist. Write them over the doors to their homes. There is only One God.

The scripture declares that this One God was manifested in the flesh as the man Jesus. [Isaiah 9:6] Before the Incarnation God manifested Himself to man in divers ways, In the Incarnation He manifested Himself in the flesh as the Son. Jesus was fully man and fully God. [Hebrews 1:1, II Corinthians 5:19]. We believe that, ‘in Him [Jesus] dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” Colossians 2:9. [Hebrews 1:1, II Corinthians 5:19]

The scripture continually declares God to be one without peer. Jesus Christ was simply God in person come to give Himself as a sacrifice for fallen man. His Name being the only Name with the authority to bring salvation [Acts 4:12].
